I'm Lucky, an experience designer based in sunny San Diego with 10+ years of experience spanning landscape architecture, UX, brand design, marketing, and event design. I enjoy bringing these disciplines together to solve complex problems and create thoughtful, human-centered experiences that leave a lasting impression.
How I got here
My path into design hasn’t been linear, and I’ve learned to see that as a strength.
Moving across different design disciplines taught me how to adapt, how to listen before reacting, and how to work thoughtfully within existing constraints.
At the core of my work is a simple goal: to use creative skills and experience to help people, and to enjoy the process of figuring things out along the way. I’m naturally curious about how experiences come together.
When I encounter something well made, I find myself thinking about the decisions behind it. A crafted object reveals its process through material and form. A digital product shows its priorities through flow and friction. A film scene communicates meaning through pacing, framing, and restraint.
These moments of observation are where my design process begins. They help me understand not just how something looks, but why it works and how similar thinking can be applied elsewhere.
